🍋🍞 Written Recipe:
Loaf:
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter
- 1 1/4 cup white sugar
- 3 room temp eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1tbsp vanilla extract
- 2tbsp lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cup of flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
Bake at 350F for 50-60mins
Icing:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp lemon juice

Hey, I actually tried using the recipe and I’m pretty sure her measurements in the video are off, it’s way too much moisture! I did some research and found that you actually only need 1/3 to 1/2 cup of sour cream (depends on how much lemon juice u add), or else your cake will be a total mess. If you watch the video closely you can see the bowl she used for the sour cream is never a whole cup, she probably just forgot to add the “/2” to the caption! :)

Heyyy starbucks barista here! Not sure if I can tell you this haha, but the recipe we actually use for sweet cream is 1L of heavy cream, 350mL of our vanilla syrup, and then whatever amount it takes of to get the whole mixture to 2L using 2% milk, then we blend that with salt packets to make the foam haha. Use that information as you will 🙂
And we actually use vanilla in the cold brew and caramel in the foam 😆
She’s making 2 servings, I’m pretty sure she doesn’t need a liter of heavy cream…

That left in the jar u can use it for your hair, just add more water, leave it out and before u take a shower spray it in your hair, leave it for 10 to 20 min, then shower normally, it tends to darker your hair color and also gives it an amazing shine, you can blow-dry your hair and its amazing really, I do it

Thank you for the recipe! I ended up trying it, and the cake came out a little dense according to the directions. I would recommend that those attempting to try this make sure that their eggs are fresh/newly bought rather than room temperature (source: Ann Reardon, food scientist and fellow RUclipsr), and don't mix the butter and sugar for 3 minutes but just until it's on the verge of turning into a liquid state, ensuring it stays semi crumbly/fluffy 😁 Still tastes delicious though! Especially the icing.

I have been learning lemon loaf and caught a really great tip if you mix your sugar with your lemon zest first and wait three min it gives an amazing taste!!

How much do the syrups go for?
@@jeanettem4727 it depends on where you are, in my area (I live in Canada) they're just under 20$. It does NOT come with a pump though, so you'll have to use a spoon to measure how much you want. The availability of vanilla or any other syrups that can be sold is at the discretion of the barista, since we can only sell it if we think we'll have more than enough to last until the next order comes in. Hope that helps :)

I'm wondering, can the syrup be used in cakes instead of vanilla extract/essence?
The coffee grounds make great fertilizer. Dump it on potted plants or if you're trying to enrich soil before planting mix it in!

I make this drink a lot at home and found an easier way! I just put a 1/4 (for one drink) cup of heavy whipping cream, a pinch of salt and some sugar or vanilla syrup and put in a blender for 15 seconds. I also use the French press to make the cold brew it’s so much easier and cleaner! You just leave it overnight with plastic wrap on top then plunge it in the morning!

Use the coffee grinds left from the cold brew to make the best body scrub.
Just add some cream to the grinds and add your desired spice. Vanilla, cinnamon or ginger spice mix. It’ll be THE best body scrub you’d ever use and costs nothing.
Finally, a fine Starbucks tutorial on RUclips! I hate seeing those clickbait videos that teach audience crappy stuff which are not even close to the OG. A little PSA, use the coffee “sludge” as a fertilizer.
Starbucks sweet cream is actually made with heavy cream, 2% milk and vanilla syrup. You could use vanilla extract in its place though, if you don't have any vanilla syrup at home
